MIAG is operating in the highly dynamic environment of Peel region. The Board had updated its vision, mission and strategic direction a few years ago to respond to the emerging ethno-cultural communities’ needs and other changing aspects in the human care services sector. This year, we will be developing our 2020 – 2025 Strategic Plan to ensure the organization’s priorities relevance to the diverse community and to strengthen our position in Peel. 

We are delighted to launch MIAG’s new website this year. This website is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. We are also in the process of designing a new and comprehensive database. It will become easier to obtain information about different groups that join our programs and services. 

In the past two years we dedicated our efforts to standardize all programs performance measurements. This will enable us to obtain more accurate and complete information about our programs impact on people and the improvement to their skills and knowledge. 

Strengthening organizational capacity is a continuous and non-stop process that we strive to follow in order to increase MIAG’s professionalism and efficiency.
