MIAG provides an exciting and unique opportunity to give back to the community through volunteerism. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs and services, client relationships, and the overall capacity of our organization. As a non-profit, a volunteer’s time and knowledge are among the most valuable donations to help us grow and strive.
By volunteering with MIAG, you will:
• Work alongside program coordinators to enhance program delivery.
• Support with operational and administrative tasks.
• Attend outreach events with staff when needed.
• Assist with organizing community events.
• Be part of a diverse, welcoming, growing team and much more.
Volunteers are accepted based on the organization's needs and capacity. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, due to limited spots we can only accept some applications.

"As a practicum student, my time at MIAG was very educational. I felt at home at MIAG because everyone was so welcoming. I was able to acquire a number of important skills that would help me succeed in my profession. While working under Solinas, who was my supervisor, I was able to learn and recognize my strengths and weaknesses. I was given the chance to develop and express my thoughts and opinions. I have also been able to put what I've learned into practice thanks to this practicum. As an aspiring Social Worker it was significant for me to gain from the experts. Therefore, MIAG assisted me in learning how to serve the community. I have witnessed and experienced how skillfully the MIAG team strives to foster an inclusive and respectful community. It was wonderful to observe how they collaborate and devise various strategies to raise awareness of numerous social issues that require resolution in our society. All in all, MIAG was a superb encounter for myself and I will cherish it forever."
